These are some of my favorite, and most used, stamp sets! The store is down until noon today (May 31st), but you will be able to order these, and products from the NEW 2013-2014 Idea Book and Catalogue this afternoon!

Below is a card I made when a dear friends grandmother passed away. I used the Petite Pairs, Best of Flowers and En Francais stamp sets to create a simple sympathy card. I love Petite Pairs because they include a stamp for the front and the inside of your card, and it's always nice to put some effort into the inside of a card as well.

Sneak Peek

I just finally got my sneak peek order because I've been too busy to order and pick it up, and I made this card. It shows off a new embossing folder, stamp set, DSP and colour! The design is CASEd from Nicole Tugrul. All these supplies will be available to order on June 1st!

Another card update

Some more birthdays and other occasions coming up, another chance to share some cards I've been working on! I'm in the process of building my craft room, eventually it will include a better photo set up, but for now the desk will do. I kinda like my mess as a background :P

These next few I actually made at work. I often bring a small carry on with craft supplies with me, and these are some of the cards I made last time.

Top 10 Basics: Card Bases and Envelopes

Last but certainly not least (actually, why wasn’t this first?) in my stamping basics top 10, card bases and envelopes. You can’t make a card without them! There are several options to get there though…

You can get pre scored and ready to go sets of cards and envelopes…
Or just envelopes (in multiple sizes and colors)…
You can use any color card stock to make your own using the paper trimmer or Simply Scored board (I like Naturals Ivory and Whisper White)…
You can also use the Simply Scored board with a diagonal plate to make your own envelopes for any size card…
And if you want to get really fancy, you can die cut mini envelopes using a Big Shot and dies…

Top 10 Basics: A Little Bling

Anyone who’s come to one of my classes knows that no project is complete without a little bling. The two easiest ways to add that little ‘sumthin sumthin’ is with Rhinestones and Pearls. Both are available in packs of 150 in three different sizes (plus strips of attached ones) and packs of 40 oversized ones. They actually go a long way, and I use them on eeeeeeeeeverything!
