Hatching Day

I'm not a huge fan of punch art, but one of my coworkers had a special request for a birthday card with a dinosaur on it. When I saw this little guy online I knew it was perfect! I added the foot prints by making a custom mask and sponging them, and the sentiment was made with the Designer Typeset photopolymer stamps for the perfect custom phrase.

This concludes my scheduled posts, I'll be back home this week so hopefully I'll have some new stuff for you then!

Washi Birthdays

I made these two cards with some inspiration from Mindy. I'm slowly falling in love with washi tape (I was slow to adopt it), and these cards us it as the focus. I used "Gorgeous Grunge" and "Oh, Hello" for the background accents along with greetings from "Remembering Your Birthday" to finish off these quick and easy cards.

Gorgeous Grunge Birthday

I'm just loving the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set! This quick and fun card is headed out to a fun little boy I've known since he was a baby. I love how just changing the colors up a bit would make this card appropriate for anyone!

Clockworks birthday

Another Pinterest CASE, this card is for my uncle. Guys can be so difficult to make cards for, with so many of the stamp sets available on the cutesy/girly side of things. I jumped on the Clockworks set not long ago with this specific card in mind. The fob watch was fun to fussy cut, and the rest was quickly done with a variety of circle punches. Lots of sponging and a vintage brad and another card done!

Birthday Flowers

This card was one I made with instructions from Connie Stewarts videos and flash card tutorials. I'm going to be making a stack of these for my next Operation Write Home box, but this one was for my aunt. One of my own special touches was stamping and coloring the envelope flap, which I love doing for all my cards, just to give it a little bit of a special pop.

Quick and Easy Scrapbook

I am not a scrapbooker. I started out as one, but over the years I lost the attention span and time needed for it. But I had a stack of photos I wanted to take to my great aunt, and I couldn't find a good little photo book. So I busted out the album I'd had sitting on my shelf since Stampin Up came out with the This and That line a year ago, and set at it. Within the hour I had a scrapbook made up with all the photos and still room to add more!

Coordinating washi tape and stickers made adding photos a breeze (some got a dab of Snail too). I used the stickers, DSP (punched out with the hexagon punch for easy coordination), and a few candy dots to decorate the cover and I was all set.

Check out the full range of This and That and coordinating products (both the Epic Day series I used here and the Season of Style Christmas series), click here!
