Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop

This month's Paper Pumpkin kit is called "Hello Pumpkin" and I love the gorgeous fall theme! You can join me this afternoon on Zoom too to see how I put these projects, and more, together, and do a bit of socially distanced socializing while we're at it! Join us here: Hello Pumpkin with Paper Pumpkin Zoom

I actually used some of the 'scraps' from the treat holders from the kit to make these cute little bunting flags. A few of the extra lace die cuts and this card is full of texture and layers! I should have actually embossed the background, but I didn't think of it until after, so maybe I'll do that during my Zoom...

Let's see what the rest of the crew made with their kits!

If you'd like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin, the best way to do it is with a pre-paid subscription. Get yours by clicking on the links below to be taken directly to my online store to get your subscription and any extra supplies you may want. A clear block is included in your first kit, but I prefer the full sized ones, and it's always good to have more. Other than that you really don't need much more than a pair of scissors and maybe the Take Your Pick Tool and a bone folder to put your kits together!

Anytime you place an order in my online store and use the host code on the right, you will also get a free mail & make class automatically mailed to you! 24 Hour Stamp Sale Blog Hop

Tomorrow the 24 hour Stamp Sale starts and a ton of stamps will be 15% off! Let's take a look at some of the stamps that will be on sale...

I chose to work with the Moving Along set. This set was featured in some recent newsletters from Stampin' Up! so I decided to CASE the designs. I didn't quite have the same DSP available, so I used the lovely patterns of the Peony Garden DSP. I also changed up the colors slightly to make them really pop. Here's a look at all three cards I made...

The first card uses a 3 3/4" square panel that's stamped with the two step images from the set, this time with a helicopter.

The next card I stamped the card images onto four pieces of 1 7/8" square cardstock.

Last but not least, the train images got stamped onto three 3 3/4" x 1 1/4" pieces.

Hop along below and see what others have made, and then get me your stamp order for tomorrow so you can save money and get more stamps!

You can also place your order by clicking on any of the items I used to make these cards below. Don't forget to use my host code (on the right of this page).

An extra fun detail on today card! Because Hebrew is read right to left instead of left to right like English, I felt it was more appropriate to have the card open on the left! Shana tova! Today is celebrated as Rosh Hashanah, or Jewish New Years. I didn't have a stamp I really wanted to use for this card, so I made my own sentiment with ink and a water painter. Last but not least use sticky notes or printed copy paper inside your cards so that the recipient can re-use them! You can even have messages pre-printed onto them for even easier card sending. The “pokey” end of a Take Your Pick Tool is perfect for placing those pre-tied bows (you did pre-tie your bows and stick them onto glue dots right?) onto your card for a finishing touch! Just don’t jab yourself... I like to use liquid glue especially when creating large quantities of cards because it’s cheap, forgiving, and easy to pick up and use when I’m in “speed stamping” mode. I keep it open in a container on my desk so I can just pick it up and go!
