Doing something a little bit different this month! Kylie runs a blog highlight every month and I figured I'd participate this month. The theme is encouragement, which fits perfectly for some cards I needed to make anyway. My dear friend has been sick in the hospital, and I wanted to send her a card to cheer her up. I ended up making more than one, and I'll be featuring them all here over the next few weeks. Now I just have to decide which one(s) I want to actually send her!
This first card used Seaside Spray as the feature color. I pulled together inks, paper, and ribbon in that color and added some Crumb Cake, Whisper White, and Wink of Stella to the die cuts. The perfect sentiment from "Artfully Aware" ties it all together...
I also decorated the inside with an extra strip of designer series paper, and of course the envelope gets love too! No nudity here!
So how does this highlight work? Head on over to Kylie's blog to see all the projects from demonstrators around the world and vote on your favourites! The top ten will be featured in a blog hop at the end of the month. So what are you waiting for? Go vote!

Very pretty and sweet card. Love the layering of the hearts and the gingham background :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a stinkin cute card Stefanie. Great work :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great use of the DSP and it is so fabulous we have the gingham in all colours now. The hearts really set this card off.
ReplyDeleteYour friend will love this card just as I do. And thanks for 'no nudity' :) Those extra details make a difference. Thanks Stefanie for being part of my international highlights this month! All the best with the voting.
ReplyDeleteI love your colour-combination! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute!!
